ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS EVENTS

The city of San Luis Potosi host numerous artistic and cultural events that give the streets and venues a very cosmopolitan feel.

Muestra Internacional de Folklore y Artes Tradicionales – This event, held in October, is a showcase of international culture. It features traditional art from various countries throughout the world, including Germany, Italy, Russia and Venezuela.

Lila Lopez International Contemporary Dance Festival – Held in October, this event draws national and international artists of distinct disciplines. It also offers dance workshops in the Instituto Potosino de Bellas Artes.

Festival de Musica Antigua y Barroca – Held in October, this music festival offers baroque music and other genres at various venues in the downtown area.

Feria Nacional Potosina – Held in August, this national fair features commercial, industrial, agricultural, livestock, crafts and cultural expositions. It also offers sporting and artistic events.
